A little after 10 pm Monday a Baytown Officer was working an extra job at a Baytown Hospital. Moments latER Baytown Police units started hearing a female voice screaming on the radio. It was determined that it was a female who had just been released from the hospital and acquired the off-duty officer’s police vehicle. The thought it was eventually in northeast Houston and an attempt to locate was issued. Units spotted it running with its emergency lights on and attempted to stop it. Houston Police chased it into Montgomery County where she made a u-turn under the Rayford overpass and began running south again. A short distance down the feeder a Houston Police unit was able to engage the woman in the Baytown patrol car with a pit maneuver. She was taken into custody.
