Thursday night a Montgomery County Precinct 4 Deputy stopped a Buick LaSabre on traffic on I-69 near Kingwood. After running K-9 Kodiak on the vehicle the dog immediately alerted to narcotics. The vehicle was searched. Inside the vehicle, they found $1100 in cash, a pistol grip shotgun, a glock, just over 1 kilo of meth, 239 THC candies, and 3.9 grams of Zanax. Arrested was the driver, Michael Christopher Hurst, 26, of 3509 Evergreen in Porter. He is charged with manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon, . Also arrested was Patricia Lydia Sorrentino, 28, of 3839 Fawn Creek in Kingwood. She is charged with manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance over 400 grams, and possession of a controlled substance between 4 and 400 grams.
