It is prohibited in Roman Forest to use or possess fireworks, as well as most East Montgomery County cities. If anyone is found in possession of or using fireworks inside the City of Roman Forest, they will receive a citation and the fireworks will be seized. For surrounding areas where fireworks are not prohibited, we caution the use of them if you are close to other residences. Make sure your neighbors are okay with your use of fireworks. If a nearby person complains of the noise of over 85 decibels that the fireworks are generating, this becomes a violation of state law, Disorderly Conduct Unreasonable Noise.
