When February’s Winter Storm Uri hit the county and left much uncertainty in the community, Buddy Adams knew just what to do. Adams, owner of The Meating Place barbecue restaurant in Magnolia, called a few of his staff members and they went to work feeding essential workers and members of the community who had difficulty finding food in the unprecedented conditions.
