Just before 6 am a Conroe man was eastbound on SH 105 at Carmen in his white Dodge pickup. A male was westbound in a Nissan Altima. The driver of the Nissan turned left onto Carmen striking the side of the Dodge and causing the Dodge to go into the ditch. The driver of the Nissan fled the scene on foot. A good samaritan who was traveling westbound in a Chevrolet pickup stopped to assist. As the good samaritan was walking to the vehicles a female driver who was eastbound on SH 105 in a green 2000 Toyota Tundra struck the Nissan causing it to spin. As she then swerved she struck the good samaritan with the left rear of her truck seriously injuring him. He was transported to Methodist Hospital in stable condition. Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office is working on the crash. Anyone with any information on the crash is asked to call the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.
