MILLMAC ROAD REOPENED AFTER CLOSED BY OAK TREE

Just before 8 pm Montgomery County Precinct 2 Deputies found a large oak tree had fallen across Millmac Road near Mann Road, completely closing it. North Montgomery County Firefighters along with the two Precinct 2 Deputies, Chris, and Commissioner Metts worked to clear the road which reopened just after 9:30 pm. As firefighters, using multiple chain saws and the winch on their truck cut, others pulled the heavy oak limbs and logs off the road. Commissioner Mett’s is having cones placed along the ditch tonight and will return Monday to haul the debris off. Commissioner Mett’s wanted to extend his thanks to the hard-working firefighters who cut the tree up.
