Splendora boys soccer coach Tim Gillespie admitted that he’s watched the highlight 50 times. “OK, probably more than 50 times,” Gillespie said with a chuckle. The scene was Cypress Park High School on a Tuesday night in April with a gusty wind wreaking havoc every time the ball was lifted in the air. Splendora, a program started in 2012, was playing in the Region III-4A semifinals, the deepest playoff run in program history to that point.
