Montgomery County Sheriff’s deputy shot near Magnolia, suspect in custody after short manhunt

One person has been arrested after a Montgomery County Sheriff’s Deputy was shot Thursday morning near Magnolia. Authorities said that incident happened on Allyson Road, just off FM 149 and north of 1488 in Montgomery County, when the suspect began firing gunshots at his neighbors, and then fired at deputies as they arrived on scene.
