On March 13, 2021, at approximately 4:33 pm, the Montgomery County (MC) Dispatch Center received a call about a possible drowning on Lake Conroe. The caller advised that a 36-year-old male had been swimming in the area of Ayers Island and Walden on Lake Conroe when he went under the water. The MC Precinct 1 Constable’s Office Marine Division along with MC ESD 1, Fire Boat 94, and the Conroe Fire Department, Fire Boat 6, responded and started searching the area for the missing male, with side-scan sonar.
