The City of Pinehurst has a new police chief. The City Council selected Jimmy LeBoeuf Tuesday night to replace Fred Hanauer as the Chief of Police in Pinehurst. LeBoeuf was one of three finalists who were interviewed by the council on Tuesday. LeBoeuf expressed his excitement about being named the next police chief in Pinehurst having worked part-time with the department previously and is looking forward to it.
