The Woodlands Christian Academy defeated Austin St. Michael’s 44-31 on Tuesday evening at Bryan High School to earn a spot in the TAPPS Class 5A state championship game. The Warriors (23-5) will take on No. 3 Fort Worth Christian (24-9) — a 72-65 winner over No. 7 Faith Christian (Grapevine) on Tuesday — in the state title game at 8:30 p.m. Friday at College Station High School.
