Murder charges brought against man weeks after human remains discovered in Conroe

A 30-year-old was taken into custody Thursday in connection with the homicide of a man whose remains were found in January in Conroe. Justin Duane Fisher, of Gilmer, is being charged with murder, according to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office. Fisher is being held on a $300,000 bond, according to jail records.
