A brutal and historic winter storm that blasted Texas is now over but the clean-up has just started for a weather event some claim may be worse than Hurricane Harvey. In The Woodlands, officials from both the township, Montgomery County and various municipal utility districts began work to assess damage and begin repairs as quick as possible. Between frozen or ruptured water lines and pipes to damage to electrical systems, workers were busy. Trash and refuse pick-up had been on hold for several days, causing large piles of trash to accumulate in apartment complexes and other neighborhoods and shopping centers.
