Close to 9 pm Tuesday night two southboud 18-wheelers hit black ice on the freeway and crashed. One closed to FM 1488 jack-knifed. The second one several hundred yards north of FM 1488 crashed into the center median wall and went over it. Milstead Heavy Duty had to remove it from the wall. Conroe Fire also had to deal with both saddle tanks being ruptured and diesel spilling onto the freeway.
