The Montgomery County Fair Association hosted the 2021 Scholarship Chili Cookoff on Saturday in Conroe. The inaugural event was held at the Montgomery County Fair off Airport Road following the cancellation of the “Elvis and The Legends Show.” All proceeds from the event will go to the MCFA Scholarship Fund. The scholarships are awarded to Montgomery County seniors. This year’s cookoff raised at least $7,000, featured a Cornhole Tournament, prizes, and bragging rights. The event was held ahead of the 2021 Montgomery County Fair and Rodeo set for April 9-18.
