The Woodlands defeated Willis 9-1 on Friday to open District 13-6A play. The Lady Highlanders (8-1, 1-0) put up three goals early in the game and continued to pull away. Gracie Britten and Annie Studebaker each scored twice. Marley Krach, Kennedy Floyd, Caroline White, Samone Knight and Ivana Palomo had one goal each.
