SHENANDOAH, TX — Earlier today a suspect attempted to rob a woman at gun point as she arrived at her place of employment. Unsuccessful in his attempt he then stole a vehicle from a parking lot in Shenandoah. The suspect then fled south where he was intercepted and stopped by Montgomery County Precinct 3 Constables. A AR-15 style weapon was used in the attempted robbery and was then found with the suspect in the stolen vehicle. Detectives are continuing to gather information from victims, witnesses and the suspect, who is now being booked into Montgomery County Jail.
