GRANGERLAND — Both Montgomery and Caney Creek were in desperate need of a win Friday night in District 20-5A play, and it took overtime to decide who would earn it. Foul shooting and timely rebounding helped the Bears snap their four-game losing streak and win 56-52. Montgomery’s previous two district losses, to Porter and Cleveland, were both by two points.
