Montgomery County Hospital District hold a special event recognizing those who saved a young mother from death

THE WOODLANDS, TX – A grateful family and the Montgomery County Hospital District organized a reunion between a young mother and the first responders who rescued her. The event was the first time everyone involved in the January 3 event had gotten together again. On that day around 11:30 in the morning, Chelsea Ibarra, 25-year-old mother of young son Landon, suffered a grand mal seizure while taking a shower. Suffering from the effects of the seizure, she collapsed, and in the process accidentally turned the water to full heat and broke the faucet. As a result, during the time she lay unconscious in the bathtub, she suffered third degree burns due to scalding water all along the backside of her body.
