CONROE, TX — The Conroe ISD Board of Trustees named the next Chief of Police for the Conroe ISD Police Department at their meeting on Tuesday, February 15. Matthew Blakelock, current police captain for the Conroe ISD Police Department, will be taking over for Chief William Harness, who is set to retire in June of 2022 after 26 years of service to the District. Captain Blakelock has worked in Conroe ISD since 1999 serving as a campus officer, corporal, and sergeant prior to his current position as captain.
