Lone Star Community Radio (LSCR) has been on the Conroe and Montgomery County airwaves for the past eight years, since 2012. Recently, station manager Richard “Dick” Schissler decided to take the next bold step in the station’s history and turn it into a nonprofit organization. This change will make the station even more available to various groups and members of the community to produce and broadcast their content.
