BOYS HOOPS: Grand Oaks tops Montgomery in non-district action

MONTGOMERY — Grand Oaks used a dominant second quarter and efficient foul shooting late to beat host Montgomery 51-44 in non-district play Saturday afternoon. The Grizzlies (5-3) trailed after one quarter but topped the Bears (2-5) by a score of 15-4 in the second frame to create a lead they never surrendered. It’s the fourth-straight win for Grand Oaks.
