Magnolia beat rival Magnolia West 52-33 at home to kick off District 19-5A play Tuesday night. The Bulldogs (3-7, 1-0) got 19 points, 12 rebounds and three blocks from Gabrielle Huetter in the win. Huetter was also 5 for 5 on free throws. Jade Bubke had 14 points and four steals. Kiara Battle had eight points, eight rebounds and drew three charge calls.
