New Caney suffered a 43-22 loss to Waller in District 8-5A (Div. I) action Thursday night at Randall Reed Stadium. The Eagles (4-4, 3-3) trailed 21-8 at halftime, but came storming back with 14 unanswered points in the third quarter. That gave the Eagles a 22-21 lead entering the fourth, but they were outscored 22-0 by the Bulldogs in the final frame.
