When the award-winning Texas Children’s Hospital (TCH) expanded its services with a new facility in The Woodlands, a planned community located in the heavily forested region north of Houston, the lush landscape was clearly a source of inspiration for FKP Architects. The resulting state-of-the-art facility’s overall concept was based on the theme “Spirit of the Woods,” and that concept can be seen in every aspect of both the interior and exterior design.
