Montgomery ISD OKs 2 percent mid-year raise for staff

The Montgomery Independent School District’s employees have received some good news heading into the holiday season. Earlier this summer, the district’s board of trustees voted not to give employees a raise due to uncertainty, including due to the pandemic. Now the school board plans to give a 2 percent mid-year raise — effective Nov. 1.
