For the prior 55 years, the Conroe boys basketball program had put on a Christmas basketball tournament that has drawn some of the most competitive teams in Greater Houston. But last year due to protocols set forth by the University Interscholastic League which didn’t allow for regular season basketball tournaments because of COVID-19, the Conroe Christmas Classic wasn’t played.
