The year 2020 has been a year like none other, and the East Montgomery County Improvement District’s remaining events of the year will be, too – in a very positive way. EMCID has revamped its Fall Extravaganza and expanded A Holiday to Remember, which centers around an ice-skating rink. Due to the density of crowds at EMCID’s parking lot where the annual fall event is typically held, the decision was made instead to have a free drive-thru event at Randall Reed Stadium. Open Thursday, Oct. 29 from 5-8 p.m., vehicles will enter the stadium parking lot located at 21360 Valley Ranch Parkway in New Caney and receive candy before driving through a 180-foot tunnel of spooky fun and adventures. While the temperatures may have just turned a little cooler, planning is well underway for EMCID’s winter event, A Holiday to Remember. The third annual ice-skating event is staying in the Valley Ranch Town Center but moving indoors to 22296 Market Place Dr. between Hobby Lobby and Cinemark.
