Members of Boy Scout Troop 89 and other volunteers help clean debris from the Conroe Community Cemetery, Saturday, Oct. 10, 2020, in Conroe. The clean up day is part of the Conroe Community Cemetery Restoration Project’s efforts to restore the site, which dates back to the 1890s and includes emancipated slaves, railroad workers, saw mill workers and the only confirmed Buffalo Solider buried in Montgomery County.
