Wednesday night an East Montgomery County patrol units were alerted to an intoxicated driver being followed by a wrecker and unable to maintain lanes. The wrecker driver spotted Jacquelyn Gayla Bauer, of Conroe leaving Players Club on Loop 494 in Porter. She eventually entered the freeway and was unable to maintain lanes. When she exited FM 2090 a Splendora Officer was able to get behind her and verify she was not able to maintain lanes or speed. She was stopped at FM 2090 and Goodson Road. After failing a field sobriety test she was arrested for driving while intoxicated and transported to the Montgomery County Jail. Her vehicle was towed but due to policies a wrecker driver witnessing and the event is not able to tow the said vehicle.
