Alleged bomb threat on Conroe City Hall leads to man’s arrest

A reported bomb threat on Conroe City Hall on Tuesday morning led to the building being cleared out and to the arrest of a man who has allegedly caused past disturbances. Michael Drew Sowell, 35, of Conroe, is being charged with possession of a hoax bomb, a Class A misdemeanor, and criminal trespass, a Class B misdemeanor, according to the Conroe Police Department.
