VOLLEYBALL: Willis pulls away in four-set win over New Caney

NEW CANEY — After dropping a tight first set, Willis rebounded for a 22-25, 25-15, 25-11, 25-19 win over host New Caney on Tuesday night in non-district play. It was the season opener for both teams, and one that was appreciated after the coronavirus pandemic delayed play by a month for Class 5A and 6A schools.
