Local residents are accustomed to fireworks shows several times a year in The Woodlands, notably on the Fourth of July and Labor Day holidays. In an effort to follow tradition despite the limitations brought on by the COVID-19 novel coronavirus pandemic, township Parks and Recreation Department staff managed to host a 4th of July fireworks show with a new, drive-in type event.
