Did you know that Montgomery County Search and Rescue Team was one of the earliest search and rescue groups to organize in the state of Texas? We didn’t either, but the Lake Conroe Centennial Lions Club members that attended last week’s meeting not only learned that but much, much more about this wonderful, First Responder, nonprofit organization. We were so impressed! Guest speakers Bill and Gerrie Singleton shared with us that MOCSAR was established in 1984 by a group of concerned county residents who were interested in helping others.
