WANTED FUGITIVE RETURNED TO MONTGOMERY COUNTY AND WANTS A THIRD BOND!!

On April 6th, 2021, a Montgomery County Precinct 3 Deputy was dispatched to a home on Redwood Village in South Montgomery County in reference to a stolen 2019 Ford F-150 Raptor valued at $70,000. It was learned that Kassie Marie Rickman, 33, of Pearland stole the truck and took it to a tire shop in Crosby, Texas. A Precinct 3 Constables Office Investigator then contacted the tire shop and learned that Rickman parked the vehicle near his shop on FM 2100 and listed it for sale. She was able to sell the vehicle for $7500, however, the person who bought the truck had already parted it out. The person who purchased the vehicle did make a copy of Riclmans driver’s license. Judge Grant gave Rickman a $3000 bond which was made Bustin Out Bail Bonds. One of the stipulations of the bond was to remain in the State of Texas. She was to have no communications with the victim and submit to random urinalysis. In June she continued to contact the victim and failed urinalysis tests. On July 14, 2021, Judge Damico remanded her to custody and set a $10,000 bond. On July 17, 2021, Rickman was able to make bonds through ASAP Bail Bonds in Conroe. She was to appear in court on August 11, 2021, for which she failed to appear. A warrant was issued for her arrest. It was discovered she was working in a hospital in Florida but then fled to Tennessee. While in Tennessee she used a credit card she had obtained from a friend and ran up hotel bills and purchased several cell phones. The friend who had also cosigned her bond did some detective work on his own and was able to track Rickman down. She was arrested by the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office in Chatanooga, Tennessee on September 28, 2021. She was transported back to Montgomery County Thursday morning and booked into the Montgomery County Jail. Before she even arrived at the jail documents were being drawn up by her attorney for yet another bond. Rickman has also been handled several times in Harris County. On March 3, 2016, she was arrested for driving while license invalid, which was dismissed. On August 3, 2019, she was again arrested after stealing two pairs of pants and six shirts. That case was also dismissed.
