The novel coronavirus pandemic has prompted a change on the November ballot for the Willis Independent School District. The school board originally called for a $175 million bond election with three propositions that included new sports facilities, campus upgrades and a new pre-kindergarten center. But Superintendent Tim Harkrider confirmed the board unanimously voted on Wednesday to cancel the bond that was postponed from May until Nov. 3.
