Montgomery County Precinct 1 Marine Division divers located an object believed to be a vehicle that had been embedded in the silt for years earlier this week. This morning divers, auto theft detectives, and deputies went to the scene just after 7 am. They arrived to find someone had removed the marker buoy from the object. After spending most of the morning relocating it and divers in the zero visibility water it was hooked to a wrecker. What came out was a flat bottom boat identified jokingly by one as the boat George Washington crossed the San Jacinto on.
