THE WOODLANDS, TX — The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, along with the Texas Crime Prevention Association, are asking communities to remember the roots of National Night Out when planning events this year: to strengthen neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships. Please consider the traditional neighborhood block parties, turn on your front porch light in order to light up the neighborhood and host your events in your individual driveways or community centers. We will have patrol deputies out and about, patrolling the streets and meeting people as we celebrate National Night Out together on Tuesday October 5th this year.
