The Magnolia Elite 09 softball team won the USSSA 10U national championship recently in Gulf Shores, Ala. The team went 7-0 during the tournament weekend, and pitcher Hailey Christopherson (MVP) and Maeleigh Jordan (top offensive player) won individual accolades. The team allowed just five runs throughout the tournament and finished its season ranked No. 1 in Texas and No. 2 in the nation.
