SPLENDORA, Texas – A driver was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated after police responded to reports of a vehicle dangerously weaving across the road and nearly causing multiple accidents. The incident, reported by a vigilant eyewitness, allowed officers to quickly locate and stop the impaired driver. During a roadside investigation, officers determined the driver’s blood alcohol content was more than twice the legal limit. The individual, facing a second DWI offense, was taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail. Splendora Police thanked the eyewitness for their role in helping prevent further danger on the road.
