Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office reported on November 7 at 3:04pm: “NO ACTIVE THREAT AT THE WOODLANDS MALL”. “Reports of an active shooter at The Woodlands Mall have been investigated by the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies are on-site and have confirmed that there is no active shooter or any ongoing threat. There was apparently a malfunction with the active shooter threat announcement system that advised everyone to shelter in place. The mall is secure, and operations continue as normal.
