GRIMES COUNTY, Texas — The Grimes County Sheriff’s Office arrested a man after a high-speed chase on Tuesday, Oct. 29, per report. On Tuesday, a Grimes County Sheriff’s Office deputy pulled over James Leo Harvey, a Plantersville resident, for expired registration at 3:30 p.m., according to the Sheriff’s Office. Harvey refused to exit his Toyota RAV 4 when asked to do so. Instead, he accelerated at 100 MPH away from the officer onto Texas State Highway 249, the office said.
