“And the LORD shut him in.” (Genesis 7:16) The time had arrived. By the construction of an ark, Noah “condemned the world and became an heir of the righteousness that comes by faith.” (Heb. 11:7) In reverent fear, he believed the promise of God and therefore saved his household. The 600-year-old man entered the ark with his family and animals according to the command of God.
