MONTGOMERY, Texas – A 46-year-old Magnolia man was arrested early Friday morning in connection with multiple burglaries at businesses on FM 1488, according to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.Deputies from the District 4 Patrol Division responded to several glass break alarms around 3:25 a.m. on September 27, 2024. Upon arrival, they discovered broken entry doors with blood evidence on the glass. Surveillance footage led to the identification of the suspect, David Griego, who was recognized by a business owner as a regular customer working at a nearby gym.Deputies located Griego at the gym and conducted a field interview, during which he admitted to the burglaries. Griego was subsequently arrested and transported to the Montgomery County Jail, where he faces two counts of burglary.
