Harris County astronaut still plans to vote in 2024 election despite being stranded in space

Texas first passed a law in 1997 that allows astronauts to vote if they will be in space during early voting and on Election Day. NASA astronaut, and Harris County resident, Butch Wilmore said he still plans to vote in the upcoming November election even though he and a colleague have ended up having an unexpectedly long stay at the International Space Station (ISS).
