Sheriff’s Office arrests Suspect for Murder in Fentanyl Related Death

On July 3, 2024, members of the Montgomery County Narcotics Enforcement Team (MOCONET) responded to a residence in the 14000 block of Walker Road in Montgomery County to assist with investigating the death of a 61-year-old female. During the initial investigation, evidence found at the location indicated that the female may have overdosed from the use of illicit narcotics. After the autopsy, results provided by the Montgomery County Forensic Center confirmed that the female died of the toxic effects of Fentanyl.
