We live in an area where most homes are on one ore more acres. Instead of burning their debris these folks are placing it one the side of the road for the county to pick. I don’t recall the county picking up debris from past storms snd hurricanes so why start now? That’s what happens when you decide to “citify” the entire county be allowing all these new neighborhoods to be built. Folks move in and expect the same amenities they were receiving in the Houston area. So now all my tax dollars are paying for debris pick up instead being used for more important needs of the county!

Now the tree debris from the storm being stopped just what are we supposed to do with the debris that we still need to get to the street for pickup. Some was picked up by luck that I could get it there, because there was no notice when debris would be picking up. Someone needs to manage this problem and keep residents up to date.
