Last week’s fire was third caused by lithium battery in Magnolia in last two months, say fire officials

MAGNOLIA, Texas — A lithium battery from a remote-controlled car caused a fire that burned a garage in Montgomery County, according to investigators. It happened Thursday a little after 7 p.m. at a home on Ezemily Drive in Magnolia. Crews found smoke coming from the attached garage and were able to put the fire out, keeping it contained to the garage.
