Concerned residents have reported an unsettling green glow radiating from Montgomery High School over the past few nights. Witnesses describe an eerie pulsating light permeating the building after dark. The startling luminescence has puzzled authorities and left many seeking answers.
However, school officials have been quick to reassure the community that there is no hazardous substance behind the glow. Rather, it is part of an ingenious viral marketing campaign by the school’s theater department to promote their upcoming production of Radium Girls.
Radium Girls tells the powerful true story of young female factory workers in the 1920s fighting for justice after exposure to radium paint ravaged their health. To creatively spread intrigue, students have purposefully leaked ‘reports’ of an unexplained green aura around campus reminiscent of the play’s radioactive themes. But the only thing radioactive is the talent soon exploding on stage.
Come experience the illuminating performances yourself this Saturday at 2:30 & 7:00PM or this Monday at 7:00PM. Tickets available at MontgomeryTheatre.com. Don’t miss Montgomery High’s season-shining spring production, with glowing reviews guaranteed!
