SPLENDORA, Texas — A manhunt concluded with the arrest of a 22-year-old suspect, Nicholas Starkey, who allegedly shot a woman during an argument in Splendora, Texas. On August 13, 2023, around 12:02 p.m., Splendora Police Department responded to an Assault Firearm call in the 14000 block of Lucas Lane. Officers found a 37-year-old woman suffering from a gunshot wound and immediately initiated life-saving measures. The victim, who was acquainted with the suspect, was transported to a local hospital and is currently in stable condition.
